To be eligible for this Diploma, clinical dental technicians must first complete a training programme provided by the Kent, Surrey and Sussex (KSS) Dental Deanery. The Dental Deanery is a validated partner of the University of Kent which enables it to deliver quality assured programmes leading to degrees at Masters and Foundation Degree level. On completion of their principle training, candidates can progress onto the Diploma in Clinical Dental Technology, which is managed and awarded by The Faculty of General Dental Practice (UK) of The Royal College of Surgeons of England.
For more information about the training programme please contact the KSS Deanery directly via CDT@kssdeanery.ac.uk. Their small yet highly professional and dedicated administrative team will deal with your enquiry and manage your application. On completion of the Diploma, successful candidates can then register with the GDC. For general information about registration as a clinical dental technician, please contact the General Dental Council.
